CSU-CHILL Casebook: 14 August, 2006
Marginal severe thunderstorm in terms of surface wind speeds and hail diameters occurred at the Pawnee radar site around 2220 UTC. Additional storms were present between CHILL and SPOL around 00 UTC. REFRACTT operations were extended due to these storms.
Problems: Pawnee data collection stopped early at 2330 UTC when rain water apparently entered a power supply in the antenna drive control system.
