CSU-CHILL Casebook: 19 August, 2006
Morning showers in Platteville area on the KFTG image loops. Partial clearing developing by noon. Due to increased insolation, decided to operate CHILL in case of additional storm development. Thunderstorm cluster did develop / move over the general Denver metro area; minor street flooding reported. This was observed with approximately 90 second time resolution as scanning was adjusted to Bringi's continuous 0.5 deg alternating mode PPI's. No storms reached Platteville.
