Welcome to my profile page, I'm one of the engineers at CHILL.
Biography
My role is to maintain the CHILL RF hardware, signal processor and data acquisition system, while developing new subsystems to meet the needs of users. My work interests are:
- RF/Microwave engineering
- Digital signal processing
- Programmable logic
- Microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Radar data visualization
- PCB design
I also maintain the network infrastructure at the radar site.
My current projects include:
- Solid-state C-band radar (project lead)
- Sea-Pol ship-borne C-band radar (project lead)
- FrontX Phased Array X-band radar
- System design - Solid-state S-band Transmit/receive (SBTRX)
- Waveform-agile, wide bandwidth microwave up/down converter
- Intermediate Frequency up/down converter
- Digital Waveform Generator and Digital Pulse-compression Receiver
- Integration w/ solid-state transmitter, including system packaging
- CSU-CHILL Transmitter Power Supply Upgrade
- CSU-CHILL Receiver Front End
- The WiBEX X-band solid-state radar
- Dual-channel 0-400 MHz arbitrary waveform generator
- Motion control system for WiBEX pedestal
