Wind Turbines have become increasingly common in recent years. Their Doppler spectral characteristics are presented, along with an animation showing the repetitive patterns present in the turbine spectra. An audio presentation of the same data is also available, clearly showing the temporal variation of the echo. A brief discussion on the effects of wind turbine proliferation on radar meteorology is also presented. (more...)
