Thunderstorms were fairly widespread in the CSU-CHILL coverage area during the afternoon of 2 June 2005.  At 2200 UTC a severe thunderstorm warning was issued for a storm near Berthoud.  (A thunderstorm RHI scan was done through this storm at 2209:36.)  At  2224 UTC the right flank of the storm displayed a well defined microburst pattern centered at azimuth 216 degrees / range 24 km.  (See example VCHILL image below.)  The associated reflectivity core also had a small-scale bow shape at this time.
