CSU-CHILL Casebook: 11 May, 2005
Areas of rain and a few embedded rain showers passed through the CSU-CHILL coverage area during the afternoon hours of 11 May 2005. Slow elevation scan rate RHIs were done to collect bright band observations. Radar signatures from the melting layer were apparent. (See VCHILL example below.)
