The CSU-CHILL National Weather Radar Facility, located in Greeley, CO, is a center for research and development of weather radar systems. The site is host to a number of instruments, including the CSU-CHILL S- and X-band radar, the Sea-Pol C-band ship-deployable radar and the deployable X-band radars.
The facility is funded and operated by Colorado State University's Departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) and Atmospheric Science. Additional funding and support comes from the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
