Pulse type severe thunderstorm dropped 1 inch diameter hail in the vicinity of Ft. Lupton. (SPC storm reports included observation of 1 inch hail 3 miles East of Ft. Lupton at 2215 UTC.) Also, video taken by Denver TV channel 4 (KCNC) helicopter pilot Mike Silva showed that hail completely covered the ground in some areas.
