CSU-CHILL Casebook: 25 July, 2006

Area of moderate thunderstorms moving off the foothills in Boulder County and crossing the general REFRACTT network. Rita requested that REFRACTT operations continue an extra hour through 1900 MDT / 0200 UTC. After the REFRACTT operations ended, an additional hour or so of alternating VH mode were taken as approximately 35 dBZ echo was in the 2DVD area. Time series and vertically pointed ZDR calibration data were also collected during this period.
