High Rain Rates High Rain Rates

Specific differential propagation phase (Kdp) values of several degrees per km were observed in heavy thunderstorm precipitation over Denver on 3 July 2009. The two panel image of Zh and the one hour rainfall totals observed in the Denver Urban Drainage and Flood Control District gauge network is also available.
