:A new dedicated RF instrument laboratory room was created at the CHILL facility, sporting some of the latest test equipment from Agilent and Tektronix.
Data collection begins for a component of the [https://www.eol.ucar.edu/projects/front-porch/Front-Porch.html FRONT PORCH] (Precipitation Observations and Research on Convection and Hydrometeorology) program with the Radar Observations of Storms for Education (ROSE) project with North Carolina State University [http://precip.meas.ncsu.edu/ CP3G]. This is an NSF-funded project using the [[Facilities#FRONT|FRONT]] facility. Principal Investigator: Dr. Sandra Yuter.
