Enhanced LDR in a PPI scan through hail. Linear Depolarization Ratio (LDR) values observed by the CSU-CHILL radar at 3 GHZ (S-Band) exceed -15 dB in an area of hail located just east of the radar at ~2147 UTC on 16 August 2015.
