CSU-CHILL Casebook: 1 August, 2006
Overnight REFRACTT operations requested; start up at the normal 1000 MDT time on Monday, 7/31 and ops to continue until 1800 MDT on Tuesday, 8/1. Primary storm developments took place between approximately 0200 and 0600 UTC on Monday evening (8/1 on UTC) over the eastern half of the REFRACTT network. Storm developments in the REFRACTT network appear to have been related to outflow from preexisting storms on an approximately N - S axis near Ft. Morgan.
Problems: CHILL antenna drive system became inoperative around 2200 UTC on the afternoon of Tuesday, 8/1.
